How do I play Guess the Country?
Look at the outline and type a country name. If you are wrong, you see how far your guess is from the answer, an arrow pointing towards it, and a closeness percentage. You have 6 guesses.
When does a new country appear?
Every day at midnight in your own timezone. Everyone gets the same country on the same date, so you can compare results with friends.
Are there hints?
Yes. After 3 wrong guesses the continent is revealed, and after 5 wrong guesses you see the first letter of the country.
Can I play more than once a day?
Yes. The daily puzzle counts towards your streak, and Practice mode gives you unlimited random countries.
How is the distance measured?
From the geographic centre of your guess to the centre of the answer, along the surface of the Earth. Neighbouring countries can still be a few hundred kilometres apart.
